Data Analyst

We are looking for a talented Data Analyst to join our team and support one of our clients. This role offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with U.S.-based clients on international projects.

Key Details

• Contract type: Contractor.
• Work schedule: Part-time (20 hours per week).
• Location: Open to candidates based in LATAM.
• Language requirement: Advanced English proficiency (C1-C2).
• Modality: Fully remote.

Responsibilities

• Data Analysis and Insights: Develop actionable dashboards, analyze complex datasets, and provide data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making, leveraging tools like Domo and Tableau.
• Database Management and Optimization: Write advanced SQL queries, enhance database performance, and manage large datasets efficiently to ensure seamless data operations.
• Digital Marketing Analytics: Measure and report on the performance of digital marketing campaigns—including paid and earned media—using tools like Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and advanced Excel capabilities.
• Client Collaboration: Produce insightful client reports, track performance against KPIs, and provide recommendations to drive data-informed improvements.
• Data Cleaning and Normalization: Perform ETL processes to clean, normalize, and structure data, ensuring the integrity and reliability of datasets for analysis.
• Innovative Solutions: Identify and implement opportunities for process automation and operational efficiency, utilizing advanced techniques with Python or R when necessary.

Minimum Requirements

• Advanced proficiency in English (C1-C2 level).
• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field, or 5+ years of relevant experience (or 2 years with a completed master’s degree).
• 2+ years of experience working with digital marketing, online ads, and integrated campaigns.
• Proven experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Domo, Tableau).
• Advanced SQL skills for managing and optimizing datasets.
• Proficiency in Excel with advanced statistical analysis functions, such as pivot tables, regression analysis, and descriptive statistics.
• Solid understanding of analytics and the ability to measure program success against KPIs.
• Strong understanding of the digital landscape across paid and organic media.
• Experienced in data visualization, quantitative and qualitative research, requirements gathering, SQL editing, ETL data processing, data cleansing, and normalization, and writing Boolean code.

Preferred Requirements

• Advanced proficiency in Python for data manipulation, statistical analysis, and automation.
• Expertise in R for statistical modeling, data visualization, and machine learning techniques.
• Experience with Boolean queries and prompt engineering for private GPT environments.
• Knowledge of A/B testing, conversion tracking, and advanced reporting across paid and organic media.
